Aimhigher – dedicated to supporting employers in understanding the different routes into higher education and developing an educated and skilled workforce.
Business Link – provides a range of information about employing people and being in business in the Lincolnshire and Rutland region, giving many useful support tools and contacts.
Chamber of Commerce – linking together members from the business and wider community to represent members on trade, commerce and industry issues, facilitating networking, forums and events to enable members to exchange ideas, information, views and business practice.
East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) – set up by Government in April 1999 to bring a regional focus to economic development, EMDA focuses on enterprise and innovation, climate for investment, and employment, learning and skills. A key provider of funding for many employment related initiatives.
Learning and Skills Council (LSC) – responsible for funding and planning education and training for over 16-year-olds in England. The LSC funds and contract manages work-based training programmes, such as Apprenticeships and Entry to Employment, and supports workforce development and education business links initiatives.
